Now that I am old enough to understand my background, I can look back and reflect on my passions and contemplate the future. I plan to make a contribution to society by assisting those who are dealing with misfortune. My parents told me about the adoption process and what they went through to have me in their lives. This drives my desire to become a communications major in order to understand how best to interact with and support others. I want to be able to talk to people in a purposeful way in order to connect with them on a deeper level. I will bring my talents and motivation to a university where I plan to continue to advance and overcome future challenges and help my peers transcend their personal trials and replace them with triumphs.
